The Public Interest Litigation moved by Naresh Kadyan heard today in the Bench of Hon'ble Justice R.M. Lodha and Justice R..S.Chauhan. The matter was argued, the Hon'ble court ask the suggestion that how the elephant can survive in better condition and also directed to the Additional Govt. advocate to furnish an additional affidavit that what is the system of checking about the norms and guidelines which are issued by CWLW regarding maintenance of a captive elephant and ordered to file the additional affidavit with in one week. The PETA advocate Mr. Raj Panjwani informed the court that they have obtained information about ownerships of the animals under RTI Act, 2005 further he stated to provide the complete list of ownership certificate of elephants because as per the information , the name's in the ownership certificate's which was issued by other state are not matching with the list of Rajasthan state where as per the list Rajesthan indicate the said authority as issuing authority, after hearing the advocates the Hon'ble court took a serious view and ordered to file an additional affidavit with in 4 week and provide the same information with in one week to the petitioner's advocate . Next date of hearing will be 11 July 2008.
